Soft Beginnings: Yang-to-Yin with Lottie
|
Sunday 4th January 10:00-11:30am
Begin the New Year softly with this nourishing 90-minute Yang-to-Yin practice - an invitation to shake off the stagnancy of the festive season and return to your natural rhythm. We’ll start with a fluid, gently energising flow - a sequence of soft movement and embodied exploration to awaken curiosity and encourage energy to move freely through the body with ease. From movement, we’ll journey into stillness with an extended Yin practice - longer-held postures and gentle myofascial work to soothe the nervous system, hydrate fascia, and melt away residual tension. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the water element teaches us to yield and to move with rather than against the current. As we soften and surrender, we’ll cultivate stillness, spaciousness, and a renewed sense of connection to our centre - replenished, fluid, and free. This slow, soulful practice bridges movement and stillness - a grounding, nourishing journey to release, replenish, and re-centre the self. |

The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become. Benefits include: · Releases fascia and improves joint mobility; · Improves flexibility; · Calms and quietens the mind; · Reduces stress and anxiety; · Increases circulation; · Balances the internal organs and improves the flow of chi (energy). You will leave feeling lighter and more relaxed. |
